Creekside Baby Shower for our Little Man

Joel and I are so blessed to be surrounded by our wonderful Creekside church family during this exciting time. Our Sunday School shower was on June 10th, hosted by Stephanie, Staci, and Elizabeth. They did a great job using "Little Man" as the theme...the decorations were too cute! Thank you all for your advice and love and support! We love yall!

Cute outfits for Jackson

Stephanie made a wreath for us to hang on the door at the hospital so everyone will know where Jackson is staying!

More fun decorations!

The bow ties and mustaches were a hit!

Everyone attending the shower had a bow tie to wear in honor of Joel's love of bow ties. And the chocolate mustaches were such a cute party favor!

A fun sign...thinking this may go to the hospital also :)

The girls made quite a spread of food!

Complete with cute cupcakes and toppers.

It's a little hard to see from this picture, but the cups were clear with mustaches on them so when you took a sip it looks like you had a mustache. Too cute!

Mom and I with our bow ties.

Jackson got his first blazer...can't wait!

I think this will be his Sunday bib :)

We played a game where everyone tore off how much toilet paper they thought they would need to go around the belly.

Some were very close!

But some were very generous...especially my mom!

Fun pictures with the mustache props!

April and May Fun!

I am 35 weeks today! We had a doctor's appointment on Monday and everything checked out great. Jackson has a good, strong heartbeat and he is growing (trust me, he is growing!). We will have our last ultrasound on Monday, then we will start our weekly doctor appointments. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone!

We took advantage of our time during April and May while I was feeling good and we were free to come and go as we please...we were here, there, and everywhere! Here are some pictures from some of the fun things we did to pass the time until Jackson's arrival!

In April, Emmi Kate turned 5! She wanted the family to eat dinner together at the Chick-fil-A dwarf house, so that's what we did!

Snow white and her princess pound cake...yum!

Auntie Dede and CJ waiting on their dinner.

Sweet sisters

 Love my Nani Grapes!

Emmi Kate was very particular on how her presents and cards needed to be arranged.

Our friends James and Caitlin got married on Cinco de Mayo! We took advantage of being dressed up to get a photo in our back yard before the celebration.

Tony was a groomsman...aren't they a good looking couple?!

It was so good to see and catch up with Cate! She was the wedding coordinator...
great job Ciz!

 Mr. and Mrs. James Johnson!

They are so perfect for each other

Love spending time with these girls: me, Stephanie, and Hannah.

The first dance did not disappoint...complete with a top hat, white gloves, and a cane!

 Sweet moments...

 Caitlin's dress was beautiful!

Joel with his other date, Tony.

David and Stephanie Cannon showing off the baby bump :)

 My dearest friend, Hannah.

Roomies! missing Lauren. (Please notice David in background.)

 Fun times!

Stephanie and Hannah showing off their moves

In May, we were also able to go to Nani Grace and Emmi Kate's summer dance recital.
Mom and Lindsey can't wait to see them!

CJ is still trying to understand what all the fuss is about...this was his first of many dance recitals to come!

I was so proud of Nani Grace! She did awesome...didn't miss a step!

Emmi Kate was in the Three Blind Mice...cutest mouse I've ever seen.

 Arnold, party of 5!

 So proud of these girls.

Cutest mouse EVER! Showing us her jumping skills.

We have started a little tradition of spending Memorial Day weekend in Charleston with our dear friends Matt and Tara Halverstadt (and Madras).
Bernice loves the trip because she gets to share Madras's comfy bed.

One of our most favorite restaurants in the world: Fulton Five!

My all time favorite dinner: scallops over orzo pasta with a balsamic reduction. Makes my mouth water just looking at it!

 Out for after dinner drinks

We enjoyed our drinks while watching the sun set over the Charleston sky line...beautiful!

Thanks friends for another great weekend!
